Who owns what

Creators own the comics and characters they make on drawtoon, subject to our Terms of Service and the rights of the underlying AI providers. The drawtoon name, logo, software, and design are owned by drawtoon. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit another creator’s work without their permission.

Don’t upload work you don’t have rights to

Do not use drawtoon to reproduce copyrighted manga, manhwa, characters, art, or other material you don’t own or have permission to use. Prompts that ask the AI to copy a specific copyrighted character or a living artist’s protected style may be restricted, and resulting content may be removed.

Reporting infringement (takedown notice)

If you believe content on drawtoon infringes your copyright, send a written notice to dmca@drawtoon.app that includes:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or a description that lets us locate the allegedly infringing material on drawtoon.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We will review valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the reported content.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@drawtoon.app including your signature, identification of the removed content and its former location, your contact information, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed in error. We may restore the content unless the original complainant pursues legal action.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others in appropriate circumstances.

Misuse

Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may expose you to liability. If you’re unsure whether something is infringing, consider seeking legal advice before filing.
